- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken tenders in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade and sear on both sides until golden brown. Set aside.
- Add apple slices and remaining marinade to the skillet. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until apples soften and the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the glaze. Cook for 2-3 minutes more.
- Garnish with thyme or rosemary and serve warm.
