Ingredients
1 lb USDA Angus steak, thinly sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup bell peppers (red and green), diced
½ cup onions, sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp vegetable oil (for stir-frying)
Instructions
Marinate the Steak: Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and ground black pepper in a bowl. Add sliced steak and marinate for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Vegetables: Slice mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions into bite-sized pieces.
Cook the Vegetables: Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry vegetables for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
Sear the Steak: Add marinated steak to the same wok and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until browned.
Combine Ingredients: Return the vegetables to the wok and toss with the steak. Stir in any remaining marinade and cook for 1-2 minutes to coat everything evenly.
Serve: Plate immediately and enjoy with steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, replace soy sauce with tamari or gluten-free soy sauce.
Add extra ground black pepper for a spicier kick.
This dish pairs beautifully with steamed jasmine rice or stir-fried noodles.
