A savory black pepper Angus steak stir fry that’s quick, simple, and packed with flavor. This easy recipe uses basic ingredients to create a dish that tastes just like your favorite takeout!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Angus steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add sliced Angus steak and marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated steak and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add the remaining oil to the skillet and stir-fry the bell peppers, onion, and garlic for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Return the steak to the skillet. Sprinkle with freshly cracked black pepper and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.

  • Feel free to substitute vegetables based on your preference.
