This quick and flavorful chicken cabbage stir-fry is a healthy weeknight dinner made with tender chicken, crisp cabbage, garlic, and soy sauce—all ready in just 25 minutes!

- 2 boneless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 3 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced chicken and stir-fry until fully cooked and lightly browned (5–6 minutes).
- Toss in shredded cabbage and soy sauce. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until cabbage is tender-crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
You can use Napa cabbage or red cabbage for a twist.
For extra heat, add chili flakes or a splash of sriracha.
This dish pairs well with steamed rice or cauliflower rice for a low-carb version.
Make it gluten-free by using tamari instead of soy sauce.
