- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Season cube steaks with garlic powder and black pepper.
- (Optional) Dredge in flour and brown lightly in a skillet for added flavor.
- Layer steaks and sliced onions in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth. Pour over meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3.5–4 hours, until steaks are tender.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
