Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (sourdough, brioche, or white)
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese (plain or flavored)
- 2 slices cheddar or gouda cheese (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread.
- Add your desired toppings or extra cheese.
- Close the sandwich and butter the outer sides of the bread.
- Place the sandwich on the skillet. Grill for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from heat, let rest for 1 minute, then slice diagonally and serve warm.
Notes
