Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple preserves
  • 1 cup apple jelly
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Trim excess fat from chicken breasts and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • In a bowl, combine pineapple preserves, apple jelly, horseradish, Dijon mustard, and black pepper. Stir to mix.
  • Place seasoned chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the sauce evenly over them.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • For a caramelized finish, transfer the chicken to a baking dish and broil for 3-5 minutes after cooking.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
