Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix almond flour, baking powder, and xanthan gum.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs and melted butter until combined.
  • Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients to form dough.
  • Divide dough into equal portions and shape into hot dog buns.
  • Place buns on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Allow buns to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle sesame seeds on top before baking.
  • Let the buns cool completely to prevent crumbling when sliced.
