This Easy Kraft Taco Bake is a cheesy, beefy one-dish wonder made with pantry staples like Kraft Mac & Cheese, ground beef, and shredded cheddar. Perfect for busy weeknights or budget-friendly meal prep!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Kraft shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ½ cup crushed tortilla chips (optional)
  • ¼ cup sour cream (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook Kraft Mac & Cheese according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and ¼ cup water; simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked mac & cheese, beef mixture, salsa, and ½ cup shredded cheese.
  6. Spread mixture into a greased 9×9 baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining cheese and crushed tortilla chips (if using).
  8. Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with sour cream and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or plant-based crumbles for a lighter option.
  • Add black beans or corn for extra texture and flavor.
  • Makes great leftovers for lunch the next day.
  • To spice it up, mix in jalapeños or hot sauce.
