Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb raw chicken wings, skinless
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk to create a wet batter.
- Dip each chicken wing into the wet batter, then dredge in the seasoned flour. Repeat for a double coating.
- Let the coated wings rest on a plate for 10 minutes to help the coating adhere.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken wings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove wings from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with buffalo sauce and honey until fully coated.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or side dishes.
Notes
- For a healthier version, bake or air fry the wings instead of frying.
- Experiment with different sauces such as BBQ, teriyaki, or honey mustard.
- Always check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) before serving.
