Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into separate bowls and mix in gel food coloring for each desired color.
- Roll small portions of the dough into balls, flatten slightly, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Add sprinkles on top of each cookie for decoration.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are just set.
- Allow cookies to cool completely before serving.
