- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage (or 8 cooked sausage links)
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (8-count) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook sausage in a nonstick skillet until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Scramble the eggs with salt and pepper until just set. Let cool slightly.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- On each triangle, place a spoonful of eggs, sausage, and a sprinkle of cheese.
- Roll each triangle starting from the wide end and tuck the tip underneath.
- Optional: Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use low-fat cheese and turkey sausage for a lighter version.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- To freeze: Wrap baked roll-ups individually and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months.
