Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1½ tsp almond extract
2¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Optional: white chocolate chips, coconut, or dried fruit
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.
Cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs and almond extract.
Mix dry ingredients in another bowl. Combine with wet ingredients.
Scoop dough and place on baking sheets.
Bake for 9–11 minutes. Cool before serving.
Notes
Use ½ tsp almond extract for a milder flavor.
Freeze dough for up to 3 months.
